On April 14th, 2023, Barton Park Homes Limited’s stake in Ross Park Homes Limited was purchased by the majority shareholder, a local Devon-based family company. Ross Park Homes Limited comprises Haytor View Residential Park and Ross Park Caravan Park.
Tilly Newing of Ross Park Homes Ltd. said “this buyout now gives us the opportunity to continue to move the business forward beyond the initial Haytor View development. We are a proud Devon-based, family-run business with many years of experience operating in this industry. Our focus remains steadfast in continuing to provide excellent levels of service to our residents as well as our touring park guests. By bringing everything under one roof, it means our sales and support team will all be based nearby and able to help and advise with their local knowledge”.
Haytor View Residential Park is nestled in the thriving South Devon village of Ipplepen, between the bustling market town of Newton Abbot and the castle town of Totnes, with its many independent shops and cafes. As the name suggests, the park enjoys stunning views of the popular Dartmoor landmark, Haytor. The village offers residents a great community lifestyle and lots of activities to get involved in, including a cricket and bowling club, as well as many regular local events and village shows year-round. The park is safe, secure and in a beautifully peaceful location, offering brand-new, high-quality, fully furnished residential park homes from £279,950.
With environmental responsibility a key priority, a professional ecologist and landscape consultant worked alongside at each stage to guide the design process. This has limited the developments’ impact on the environment and resulted in a landscape strategy which enhances and improves the quality of the existing green infrastructure across the site and in the surrounding landscape. Specific actions implemented include;
- Native species of hedgerows and tree planting
- Locally relevant species of flowering meadow grass
- Low level street lighting to help avoid light spilling into the surrounding area
- Permeable paving systems
- Green infrastructure for improved green linkage and wildlife corridor
- Use of Devon hedge banks where appropriate for boundaries
- Utilising reclaimed and locally sourced natural stone for cladding
Ross Park Caravan Park will continue to operate as it is and is set for another busy season welcoming returning and new guests.
